
Afrofuture Rising Star Challenge is a platform for fresh and emerging artists to connect with the Afrofuture audience. Our goal is to increase the visibility of artists across Africa. The program includes a social media submission contest, educational programming, an exclusive playlist, and the opportunity to perform live at the 2025 AfroFuture festival in Accra, Ghana.

Paa Lorde is an Afrofusion and Afrobeat artist from Cape Coast, Ghana. Now based in Accra and currently a student, he has been making music since his high school days. He has released several projects, all available on major streaming platforms.

Childz Play is an artist whose name is inspired by his own personality and the works of the Supreme Creator. Hailing from the trenches of Labadi, he brings a wide range of vibes, melodies, and sounds that stretch far beyond the ordinary. His music isn’t made just for the world, but for the multiverse. To him, music is spiritual and he is the spirit within it.

Alana Morrison is a singer, actress, model, and reality TV personality from New Haven, known for her authenticity on CBS and Netflix’s Love Island USA. She’s recognized for her contemporary R&B sound, debuting with her 2018 EP OH BOY. Since 2022, she has released singles like “I Want You,” “Moonlight,” and “Nite Time,” and performed at The Come Up Experience, Major Stage, SOB’s, and for the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun. Her latest single, “We Can Be,” explores soulful connection and timeless love.

Joywxrld is a Ghanaian songwriter and performer whose versatility and creativity allow him to captivate audiences with ease. His distinctive style and strong stage presence help him connect deeply with listeners through both his music and performances.

Korlie Matey Patrick, known professionally as Khorlie, is a Ghanaian singer and songwriter born on December 27, 1999. Raised in Accra, he developed a sound rooted in Afro and R&B influences, a fusion he describes as a blend of Ghanaian highlife, R&B, and folk-pop progressions. Driven by passion, Khorlie’s goal is to share his music with the world.

Brenny is a rising Ghanaian artist redefining Afrobeats and R&B with a blend of sultry vulnerability and undeniable stage presence. Her sound carries the emotional depth of Tems and the global rhythm of Tyla, exploring love’s softest moments and its sharpest heartbreaks.
Her smooth yet raw vocals glide over melodic production with honest lyricism. Brenny aims to share her Afrosoul and R&B fusion with the world as she continues to evolve as a creative voice of her generation.

KOYOYO, born Ware Kofi Nuako, is an Afrobeat artist from Ghana. He was born and raised in Sefwi Bekwai in the Western North region and continues to build his craft with authenticity and energy.

Seley is a Swiss-based Ghanaian artist blending Afro-Soul, R&B, and Pop into a distinctive cross-cultural sound. Her music celebrates African heritage while embracing a modern global identity. She has performed at major events such as Ghana Party in the Park and has opened for international artists including Ayra Starr, Rema, Sarkodie, Medikal, and more. Through her art, Seley aims to connect Africa and the diaspora through sound, storytelling, and empowerment.

HKR Manuel is a Ghanaian artist whose sound sits between raw emotion and rebellion. He creates from a place of truth, blending alternative and Afro-fusion influences to tell stories that feel cinematic yet deeply personal. His art is rooted in evolution, constantly discovering new layers of himself through every beat, word, and visual he creates. For him, it’s not just about being heard; it’s about being felt.

&yo is an artist who’s dedicated to what she loves ( music) and anything entertainment. She's really proud of her music and can't wait for the world to love it one day.

Remmi is a 20-year-old Afro Pop and Afro Fusion artist from Ghana and an engineering student at KNUST who is fan of great music and great people.

AGGi is the sound of two worlds colliding. With Ghanaian and Danish roots, she fuses Afro rhythms with pop, hip hop, R&B, and beyond, creating a bold and dynamic style all her own. Her singles “Pressure,” “Follow,” and “No Drama” featuring Yung D3mz were made in Ghana and South Africa, earning heavy rotation on Denmark’s DR P3 as P3’s Uundgåelige, along with features on BBC Radio 6, NRK P3, and even a spot on the Billboard Hot 80.
On stage, AGGi brings pure electricity. In 2024, she toured Ghana with standout performances at HiphopAfrica Festival, The Mooners, and Front Back, and has headlined Roskilde Festival, SPOT Festival, and VEGA in Europe. Raw, fearless, and impossible to ignore, she is now finishing her debut album in Ghana.

Tsemi is a 20-year-old Afrobeats and Afropop artist with boundless energy and a lifelong passion for music. She began making music at age 9 and started recording professionally in Paris by 14. Now based in London and studying at the British & Irish Modern Music Institute, she continues to refine her sound. Her music blends Afrobeats rhythms, pop elements, and the raw passion she’s carried since childhood, bringing soul and pure energy to both her performances and studio work.

Hope Amos Kwamena Hayford, known professionally as Rich Bestie, is a Ghanaian multi-genre artist. He grew up listening to Wizkid, Asake, Rema, Victony, and many others who inspire his music. Today, Rich Bestie is making waves in the game and bringing his energy to every part of it.
